Day 1: laying the foundation with Immich, Jellyfin, and Paperless-ngx

Bumplog opens today with one clear job: for every major self-hosted app, answer the question people actually search before they hit upgrade, "Is it safe?", with a sourced, summarized answer that updates whenever upstream does. No invented details, no stale copy. Day one is foundation work. The first three pages go up today: Immich (highest release velocity in the photo-management space, with a history of migration-heavy point releases), Jellyfin (active plugin ecosystem where ABI changes matter), and Paperless-ngx (document manager whose minor releases occasionally carry schema changes). Each page pulls the current release from GitHub, summarizes what changed, classifies the breaking-change risk, and links directly to the source. The differentiation is the badge. Official repos own the bare app-name head terms. Bumplog earns on long-tail ("immich breaking changes", "is paperless-ngx 2.x safe to update") and on the repeat visit from someone who bookmarks the page and checks it before every upgrade cycle. That repeat visit is the whole game. The leading stage calls for engaged uniques and source diversity. The plan is to build real pages on real releases, earn the first returning visitors organically, and let the freshness cadence do the work.
